Gyle "Guy" Franklin Steinbring, 80 of Mt. Calvary and formerly of Milwaukee, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Hixton, WI on December 23, 1931 the son of William and Inez Dell Steinbring Simons. On July 26, 1958 he married Amelia "Molly" M. McCarthy in Milwaukee. Gyle was a machinist with Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee retiring on March 3, 1992. He was also employed as a machinist with Richmond Manufacturing in Butler. He was a veteran serving in the Army Airborne from July 1956 to July 1958 stationed in Greenland. He enjoyed hunting, fishing bowling, dancing, playing cards especially cribbage, build and repair things, traveling in his RV and was a big time roller skater.SURVIVOR: Gyle is survived by his wife Amelia "Molly" M. Steinbring, Mt.Calvary, two children Michael Steinbring, Freemont, Karen Londo, Mt. Calvary, five grandchildren Kelly (Todd) Lisowe, New Holstein Brian (Brianna) Vinney Jr. Cody Vinney, Brandy Vinney all of Mount Calvary, Duke (Brittany) Steinbring, Butler, and one great-grandson Lucas Steinbring, Butler. Gyle is further survived by his sister Lois Mathews, Hartland, nieces and nephews.. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister Gylda Busse, sister Betty (Clifford) Voss, Roger (Mildred) Steinbring, infant sister Sharon Steinbring, father and mother-in-law Emmet and Elizabeth Wolter, step-father Jesse Simons and brother-in-law Vincent Mathews,
VISITATION: Friends may call on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N.Park Ave., Fond du Lac.
