Harold A. "Archie" Langacker

July 16, 1923 — September 1, 2005

Harold A. "Archie" Langacker age 82 formerly of 1 Robin Dr. North Fond du Lac, WI died Thursday September 1, 2005 at Manor Care Health Services. He was born on July 16, 1923 in Milwaukee to Arthur Egbert Oswald and Genevieve Ambrose Langacker. On September 24, 1976 he married Patricia Hall in Fond du Lac, WI. Harold was a veteran of World War II serving in the infantry from 1943 to 1946. He was employed by Northern Casket and later Rueping Leather Company. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He loved football and NASCAR racing. Survivors include his wife Patricia, North Fond du Lac, four children, Ronald (Barbara) Langacker, of Fond du Lac, Michael (Deborah) Langacker, of Neenah, Lawrence (LuAnn) Langacker, Fond du Lac, Sharon Langacker Adams of Fond du Lac, WI. Twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren and Three step daughters. Two brother-in-laws, Ralph (Joan) Hall of Lakewood, WI and Peter Hall of Fond du Lac,WI. Three sister-in-laws Sara Sue (Pete) Schwartz, Fond du Lac, Marlene (Robert) Thinnes, RaeJean (John) DeLap, of Fond du Lac. one nephew Dick Bickelhaupt of Fond du Lac, one niece Diane (Stan) Hoover of Portage, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, David Langacker, and two sisters, Mildred Crowley and Vera Bickelhaupt.



Visitation for Harold will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home on Saturday September 3, 2005. Funeral Services will be on Saturday at 1 pm at the Funeral Home. Rev. Jon Cox will officiate and burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery. Pall Bearer's for Harold Langacker will be his grandson's Ronald Scott, Chris, Doug, Phil, Curt,and Greg. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post No. 75 will be conducting military graveside Services.Special thanks to Charity, Deb W., Deb S., Scott, Sandy, Linda, Sue Ellen, Alex, Thea, Ruth, Kathy, Physical Therapy-Sue and To All The Employees of ManorCare.
