Harold C. "Henry" Kind

Harold "Henry" C. Kind, Sr. 87 of Fond du Lac died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at his residence.He was born on June 29, 1925 in Van Dyne the son of John and Rose Dryer Kind. On June 16, 1951 he married Dolores E. Schettl at the Sacred Heart Rectory in Oshkosh. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps serving stateside in San Antonio, Texas and Hampton, Virginia from 1945-49. He was employed with Wells Manufacturing for 37 years as a custodian retiring in 1990. After retirement Harold worked as a runner for Excel Engineering for 14 years. He was a member of the Foresters since 1974. He enjoyed bingo, wrestling, fishing, and especially spending time with family and friends.SURVIVORS: include his wife Dolores Kind, Fond du Lac, seven children, Rose (Ronald) Siedschlag, Harold C. Kind, Jr., Beatrice (Ambrose) Sabel, Randy (Roxanne) Kind, Paul (Linda) Kind, Mary (Randy) Snyder, Susan ( friend Doug) Kind, all of Fond du Lac, fourteen grandchildren, Guy, Gary (Tanya), Travis, Stacey ( friend Bob), Kevin (Tracy), Scott (Gail), Christopher (Rachel), Andy, Christine (Jeff), Cassandra, Allen (Misty), Ashley (Greg), Timmy, and twenty-two great -grandchildren, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Ruth Kind, Rosendale, Ralph Schettl, Anna (Clifford) Frank ,Betty Brooke all of Oshkosh and Margaret Schettl, Winneconne.Preceded in death by parents, one brother John E. Kind, two sisters, Olive (Edwin) Stephany, Annabel (Frank) Miller, two grandchildren, Chad Kind and Dawn Kind, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Leonard (Alice) Schettl, Florence (Bernard) Berndt, Dorothy Schettl, and Lionel Brooke.



VISITATION: Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.
