HAROLD H.PATCHETTHarold H. Patchett, 75 of 459 Wilson Avenue, Fond du Lac, died Friday, December 16,2005 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born in Oakfield on December 31,1929 the son of Clarence and Lena Patchett. On September 9,1950 he married Dorothy E. Makus at Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran. Harold was a Korean War veteran serving from October 22,1951 to August 4,1953. He received the Korean Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the Purple Heart in August 1952. Harold was employed at Mercury Marine from where he retired. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Evangelical Lutheran. SURVIVORS: Wife, Dorothy E. Patchett, Fond du Lac; two daughters, Sandy (Miles)Mertens, Van Dyne and Barb (Dave) Ryan, Sheboygan; seven grandchildren, Lisa (Jim) Huebner, April, Amy, David Jr., Kristy and Patrisha Ryan, Travis Mertens; three great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Doris Henke, Fond du Lac, Lydia Hintz, Burlington, Malita Patchett, Fond du Lac, Dolores (Richard) Grunwald, Detroit, MI.Preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Paul Henke, Leo Henke, Louis Patchett and Elmer Patchett; one sister, Ella.
VISITATION: Tuesday, December 20, 2005 from 9am to 11am at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church. FUNERAL SERVICES will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 11am at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev. Joel Gaertner and Vicar Jonathan Munson will officiate. Burial will follow in Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 firing squad will conduct graveside military rites.Memorial may be directed to Faith Ev. Lutheran Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
