Hazel A Hupfer-Repp, age 92 was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 7, 2009 atSt. Francis Home where she resided the last 7 years. Hazel was born January 7, 1917 in Springvale, WI.She was the only child of Arthur and Henrietta Brooks Winke. On October 15, 1955 she married Frank Hupfer at Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran and he preceded her in death on March 18,1972. On September 20, 1975 she married Herman Repp at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church and he preceded her in death on December 18, 1990. She was a graduate of Rosendale High School Class of 1934 and Oshkosh Business School Class of 1935. Hazel worked at various businesses in Fond du Lac as a bookkeeper ending her career at Fond du Lac Concrete Products where she worked for over 35 years retiring at the age of 76. It was often said, "If Hazel did it, we know it's right." She was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, its Chancel Guild and Quilters, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Hazel enjoyed traveling, shopping, dancing, trips to the casino and spending time with her family. " Mom you were always there for us. Your love and support was a blessing to all of us who loved you. We will treasure the memories of you forever."SURVIVORS: She is survived by her children; Bette Eyers, Fond du Lac, Rodney Hupfer, Litchfield, IL, Gail Simon, Fond du Lac, Ellen (Noel) Losey, Fond du Lac, three step-children; Ronald (Marilyn) Repp, Fond du Lac, Thomas (Marilyn) Repp, Omro, Guy (Sue) Repp, Fond du Lac. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren (and one grandchild due in April 2010) and one great great grandchild. Her parents, husbands, a son Wayne Hupfer, and a son-in-law, Chuck Eyers preceded Hazel in death.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Tuesday November 10, 2009 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, 20 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will held Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 4:00 PM at the church with Reverend Shari Routh. Family burial services will be on Wednesday in Estabrooks Cemetery."Special thank you to all the staff at the St. Francis Home for their loving care and compassion given to our Mom."Memorials appreciated to Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund or to the family.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
