Hazel A. Vande Kolk

Hazel A. Vande Kolk, age 79 of 168 Ledgeview Avenue, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at ManorCare Health Services where she had been a resident for the past six weeks. Hazel was born in Fond du Lac on May 6, 1929 the daughter of Emil and Mary Bein Marshall. On March 6, 1948 she married Robert H. Vande Kolk. Robert preceded her in death on October 9, 1967. Hazel worked at Wells Manufacturing. She enjoyed making crafts and was a member of Tops.She is survived by six sons, Ed (Jayne) Vande Kolk, North Fond du Lac, Erv (Special friend Marsha) Vande Kolk, Fond du Lac, Steve (Diane) Vande Kolk, Fond du Lac, Mike Vande Kolk, Fond du Lac, Danny Vande Kolk, Fond du Lac, and Jim Vande Kolk, Fond du Lac. Hazel is further survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one brother Herbert Marshall, Fond du Lac, and one sister Betty Livieri, Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and her friend Leonard Behlke.



Private family visitation and memorial service will be held Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Reverend Laura Hawkins will officiate at the memorial service. Inurnment will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home Is In Charge of Arrangements.
