Helen A. Luttenberger

Helen A. Luttenberger, 91, went home to Heaven reuniting with her husband, family and friends on Thursday, July 3, 2014. She was born on March 15, 1923 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of John and Lydia Rauls. She attended St. Joseph’s School and graduated from Fond du Lac Senior High School in 1940. She was employed at Rueping Leather, Infant Socks, St. Agnes Hospital and the Oakfield Canning Company. She married Walter C. Luttenberger on April 30, 1949 and they had four children, Mary (Steve) Stephens, Wally (Diane) Luttenberger, Donna (Ed) Kolterman, and Gloria (Mike) Schmidt. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church, Daughters of Isabella, Altar and Rosary Society, the Eagles Aerie #270, and was a foster grandparent (Franklin and Riverside Schools) for over 10 years. She enjoyed Bingo, polka dances, parades, Yahtzee and casino trips with Arlene or the Senior Center. She loved spending time with her family.



She is survived by her four children; seven grandchildren, Missy, Desiree, Greg, Andrea, Justin, Ashley, and Morgan; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband (1989); son-in-law, Jeff Huck; grandson, Brett Stephens; three sisters and two brothers.



The visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Sacred Heart Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.



The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Woodlands Senior Park and Agnesian Hospice for the care and compassion given to Helen and her family.
