Helen B. RichardsonHelen B. Richardson, 91, a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, went to be with her husband, daughter, and the Lord on Thursday, November 16, 2006. She was born on July 29, 1915, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Adolph and Edith Shepro Schwartz. She attended Fond du Lac High School. On May 4, 1934, she married James W. Richardson at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2000. Helen was a very active member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church and a life member of the Gleaners Society; a women's church group, participated in many bible studies and as a volunteer visiting the sick and homebound members of her church for many years. For forty-three years she worked on the election polls, fifteen years as a member of the Women's Voters as well as a member of the Democratic Party. Helen was employed by the Infant Socks, Huber Brothers Royal Pan Candies and Office Supply, and before her retirement in 1977, GNC Forest Mall, Fond du Lac. Mother's greatest joys in her lifetime was her husband of 67 years, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, attending various sports events as their "Cheerleader", and her time spent with her church, family, and friends.Surviving is her daughter, Joanne "Joey" (Rollin) McKay-Neumann of Oshkosh, a son, Dennis Richardson of Stoughton, WI, a son-in-law, David Pinto of North Fond du Lac, five grandchildren, Jodi Nolan of Fond du Lac, Tony (Kris) Pinto of Seattle, WA, Dominic (Jean) Pinto of North Fond du Lac, Rhonda (Tony) Rodriguez of Naperville, IL, and Brenton Richardson of Santa Barbara, CA, eight great-grandchildren, Kasey, David, and Kelly Pinto, Cody and Samantha Pinto, Trevor Nolan, and Zachery and Nickki Hammer. She is further survived by a brother, Francis Schwartz of Fond du Lac, 2 sister-in-laws, Lucille Manis, and Lois Schwartz of Fond du Lac, and all her nieces and nephews who were so close to her. Her parents, husband, a daughter, Jan Pinto, a daughter-in-law, Barbara Ann Burns-Richardson, two sisters, Esther Pinno and Eva Jorgenson, five brothers, Leonard, Louis, William, Ralph, and Lester Schwartz preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Helen Richardson will be on Monday, November 20, 2006, from 11 am to 2 pm at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be at 2 pm at the church on Monday. The Rev. Michael Zuberbier will officiate and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
