Helen Dietz
Helen Dietz, 86, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, December 13, 2014. She was born September 3, 1928, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Peter and Daphne Mitzalis. She married Gilbert D. Dietz in Carson City, Nevada. He preceded her in death on August 26, 2000. Helen was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and the Ladies Philoptocos Society. She was a Life Master Bridge player. Helen especially enjoyed visiting her grand children and great grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons, Jim Bramstedt of Rosholt, WI, George Bramstedt of Plainfield, WI, and Gilbert Peter (Elizabeth) Dietz of Carmel, IN, two grandchildren, Shana (Michael) Prince and Bethany (Jeremy) Stokes, both of Stevens Point, and four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Sophia, Evelyn, and Lydia. She is further survived by a brother, Jim (Carol) Megellas, four brothers-in-law, Dennis Dietz of Lakeport, CA, Gerald Dietz, of Santa Barbara, CA, James Dietz of Sun Prairie, WI, and Mike Dietz of Tucson, AZ, and two sisters-in-law, Joan Queen and Janet Evans, both of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Louis, John, and George, and two sisters, Mary Pasvantis and Catherine Constance.
Visitation for Helen Dietz will be on Thursday, December 18, 2014, from 9 to 11 AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 198 Macy Street. Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Thursday at the 18th at the church. The Rev. Peter Pappademetriou will officiate. Burial will follow in Rienzi Cemetery.
