Helen L. Steimel

Helen L. Steimel, age 88, died Thursday, July 8, 2010 at St. Francis Nursing Home in Fond du Lac, WI. She was born on November 10, 1921 in Philadelphia, the daughter of Joseph Tickell and Elizabeth Green. Her foster mother Mary Jane (Polly) Mulligan raised her. On October 24, 1942 she married Walter Steimel Sr. in Philadelphia. Her husband, two sisters and one brother preceded her in death. SURVIVORS: three sons, Walter (Maileen) Steimel, Jr., of Exton, PA, Robert (Suzanne) Steimel of Bay City, MI, William (Dawn) Steimel of Fond du Lac, WI, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two nieces Ruthie Mallet residing in Virginia Beach Va. and Edith Stetser. Residing in Chicago, Ill.
