Helen M. Hare

Helen M. Hare, age 93, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at St. Francis Home where she had been residing and was under the care of Hospice Hope. She was born on February 15, 1925, in Marytown, the daughter of Jacob and Anna (Kraus) Pickart. On Octobert 31, 1946, she married Kenneth W. Hare at St. Mary’s Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on May 12, 2011. Helen worked at Rueping Leather and then at Wells Manufacturing for thirty years until retiring. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.



Survivors include three daughters, Jo Ann (Roger) Clausing of Rosendale, Jeannie (Milton) Schave, Joyce Hare of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Mike (Rochelle) Schave of Fond du Lac, Jeff Schave of Milwaukee, Steven Clausing of Rosendale, Danny Clausing of Rosendale; four great-grandchildren, Lydia and Tyler Clausing, Jordan and Cameron Schave; one sister, Laura Mullenbach of Chilton; one sister-in-law, Lois Marchant of Ripon; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; siblings, Albert and Mildred Pickart, Hubert and Lydia Pickart, Annie and Orville Mullenbach, Elmer Mullenbach, Dorothy and Walter Steiner; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mike and Elverda Hare, Elaine and Nelson Pinkerton, Bea and Ed Winterheck.



Visitation will take place on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 10-11 AM at Sacred Heart Church-Holy Family Parish, 200 S. Peters Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
