Helen M. PetersonHelen M. Peterson, 65, of 1057 Mihill Ave. in Fond du Lac died Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at Hospice Home of Hope. Helen was born November 11, 1939 in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Edwin and Ilene Potter Miller. On February 22, 1962 she married Donald Peterson in Olympia, WA. Helen was a graduate of North Fond du Lac High School. She enjoyed playing bingo and was instrumental in beginning bingo at St. Patrick's Church. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband; Don of Fond du Lac, four children; Mark (Cindy) Peterson of Eden, Brian (Lisa) Peterson of Malone, Michelle (Tim) Burns of Appleton, Darrin (Tanya) Peterson of Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren; Parker, Peyton, Austin, Spencer, Lexi and Emily Peterson and Megan Burns; five brothers; Edwin (Lynn) Miller Fond du Lac, John (Denise) Miller of Fond du Lac, Robert (Barbara) Miller of Denver, CO, Frank (Diana) Miller of Fond du Lac, Eugene (Patty) Miller of Fond du Lac, six sisters; Irene Shady of North Fond du Lac, Mabel (Robert) Pownell of Waupun, Darlene (Richard) Drew of Fond du Lac, Margaret (Dale) McCullough of Madison, Betty (Dale) Lemke of Oshkosh, Rosie (Mike) Davis of Fond du Lac, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law, and two brothers; Ervin and Marvin Miller.



Visitation for Mrs. Peterson will be held on Friday, March 25, 2005 from 3-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Rienzi Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.Helen will be deeply missed by her family and friends.Special thanks to Deb Winterhack at Manorcare and the staff and volunteers at Hospice Home of Hope.
