Helen M. Wagner, age 83, formerly of 517 Luco Rd, died Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Harbor Suites Assisted Living. She was born on March 23, 1923 in Mt. Calvary the daughter of Peter and Eleanora (Sabel) Mand. On October 4, 1944 she married Reno J. Wagner at Holy Cross Church in Mt. Calvary. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1999. Helen worked at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein for twenty-five years retiring in 1986. Helen lived in numerous Holy Land communities for several years including forty years in Pipe. She has been a Fond du Lac resident since 1998. She had attended St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg. Helen was extremely family focused and loved caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. SURVIVORS: her daughter, Kathy Wagner-Mohr of Fond du Lac, grandchildren, Jackie (Doug) Paul of Fond du Lac, Wendy (Brian) Burgess of Fond du Lac, Eric Mohr of Gainesville, FL, great-grandchildren, Brandon Hanson, Joshua and Brittany Burgess, her brothers and sisters, Gilbert (Germaine) Mand of Mt. Calvary, Walter Mand of Marytown, Lydia Mand of Wautoma, Francis (Susan) Mand of Colorado Springs, CO, sister in law, Florence Mand of Mt. Calvary, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Reno, one daughter, Joanne Haensgen, three brothers, Joe, Clarence, and Albert Mand, one sister Agnes Mand, and three infant siblings.
VISITATION: Wednesday, March 7, 2007 from 5-7 P.M. at Church of the Presentation B.V.M., North Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at Church of the Presentation B.V.M. with the Reverend John Simon officiating. Entombment will take place on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
