Helen R. Swartz

Helen R. Swartz, 94, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born June 16, 1921 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Carl and Alma Koepke. On April 21, 1945 she married Robert B. Swartz in Milwaukee and he preceded her in death on September 21, 1979. Helen worked as a secretary in the guidance office at Goodrich High School retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Elks Ladies Auxiliary. Helen enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packer and was an avid reader.



She is survived by her daughter, Jill (Dan) Kuiper of Oshkosh; one grandson, Erik Swartz; one great grandson, Devon Swartz; nieces and nephew, Marilyn (Keith) Hansberger, Judy (Duane) Weum, Sister Toni Ann Gradisnik, and Gary Gradisnik; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Jerry Swartz; and one sister, Jane (Pat) Schwann.



The visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Valhalla Memorial Park in Milwaukee.
