Helen Ruth SmiserHelen Ruth Smiser, 55, of 695 East Scott Street, died Sunday, January 30, 2005, at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born February 15, 1949, in Racine, a daughter of Marion W. and Gwendolyn H. Bump Worden. On October 16, 1987, she married Gilbert Smiser in Rockford, IL. Mrs. Smiser was a very active member of the Fond du Lac React Team. For all of those who knew her, she was a true friend. Surviving is her husband, Gilbert, her father, Marion, of Fond du Lac, two sisters, Sandra L. Carter and Verleen Crull, both of Fond du Lac, a brother, Claude (Trelene) Worden of Oshkosh, ten nieces and nephews, and 13 great nieces and nephews. Her mother and paternal and maternal grandparents preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Helen Ruth Smiser will be on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home from 1 to 3 pm. Liturgy of The Word funeral services will be at 3 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Deacon Ricardo Munoz will officiate and cremation will follow.
