Hildegard A. Lepinsky (nee Kleinke) passed into heaven on June 29, 2006. She was born on June 20, 1909 the daughter of Charles and Anna (Vohsholz) Kleinke in the town of Osceola, Fond Du Lac County. She married Ferdinand G. Lepinsky on November 28, 1935. She was a teacher before her marriage, and a Sunday school teacher at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Hildegard and Ferd loved farming the family farm until health problems caused their retirement. They continued to live there as long as they were able. They were active members of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church and Hildegard was a longtime member of the Ladies Aid. Hildegard and Ferd were married 68 years when he preceded her in death in 2003. Besides farming, Hildegard's hobbies were cooking, baking, sewing, quilting and music. Survivors include her two sons, Eugene (Bonnie) and David (Cheryl), three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving her is Floyd Weed, the Lepinsky's great friend and caregiver of many years. Further survivors are nieces, nephews, and family friends. Her husband, and parents, three sisters, Frieda Berge, Louise Voskamp, Erna Kleinke and a baby brother who passed away at birth, preceded Hildegard in death.
Visitation: Will be held on Wednesday July 5, 2006 from 1 to 2 pm at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac, WI. Funeral: Will follow at 2 pm at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Joel Gaertner officiating. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.
