Howard A. Klein

Howard A. Klein, 82 of Hwy D, Oakfield, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born the son of Charles and Mabel Richards Klein on September 13, 1926 in Fond du Lac. On February 10, 1945 he married Helen Caramanidis in Fond du Lac. Howard worked for Ruepings for many years until he started farming in 1951. He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Howard enjoyed hunting and fishing.SURVIVORS: his wife, Helen; two sisters, Eleanor Ballwanz and Harriet Agnew, both of Fond du Lac; two sisters-in-law, Annie Protegere, Appleton and Ellene Caramanidis, Oshkosh; two brothers-in-law, Gus Caramanidis, Oshkosh and Alex (Winifred) Caramanidis, Eldorado; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; five brothers; one sister-in-law; three brothers-in-law.



FUNERAL SERVICE: Private family services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Entombment will take place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.Memorials in Howard's name are appreciated to St. Agnes Hospice Home of Hope or Covenant United Methodist Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
