Howard E. Beyer, 75, of 256 Southview Road, Fond du Lac, died Saturday, November 04, 2006, at his residence. He was born July 20, 1931, in Fond du Lac, the son of Alex N. and Ida Segebert Beyer. On August 8, 2001, he married Linda Bickelhaupt Landreman at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr. Beyer was a member of Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church where he was with the Buildings & Grounds Committee. While in Largo, Florida, he was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church. Howard was a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He was employed by General Electric in Milwaukee and Florida as an engineer for 33 years, retiring in 1992. Howard was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Greenland from 1951 to 1954. Surviving is his wife, Linda, a daughter, Rene (Andy) Tibbetts of Satellite Beach, FL, a step-son, James Landreman of Brantwood, WI, a step-daughter, Ann (David) Steele of Appleton, WI, and two step-grandchildren, Kyle Steele of Columbia, MO, and Andrea (John) Kohlman of Appleton. He is also survived by a sister, Betty (Wayne) Maxheimer of St. Petersburg, FL. Further surviving are sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, and other relatives and friends. His parents, two wives, Marcella McCrory Beyer and Rosemarie McCrory Gens Beyer, a brother, Robert, and a sister, Gertrude Beyer, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Howard E. Beyer will be on Tuesday, November 7, 2006, from 4 to 6 pm at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be at 6 pm on Tuesday at the church. The Rev. Shari Routh will officiate and cremation will follow the services. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
