Ichiko Pergande

Ichiko "Ichy" Pergande entered eternal rest on February 9, 2020. She was born on March 14, 1930 in Niigata-Ken, Japan, to Ichiro and Chio Yamaguchi. She was united in marriage to Richard R. Pergande on February 23, 1955, who preceded her in death on December 26, 2012.



Ichiko proudly began her nursing career at the U.S. Army 8168 Hospital in Yokohama, Japan, and held related nursing positions for many years in California and Wisconsin.



Her children, Rose Reiger, Lil Snider, Kathy Frank, and Rich Pergande express their sincere gratitude to the dedicated loving staff at Grancare Nursing and Rehab Center for the care given their parents Richard and Ichiko. An appreciation of thanks is extended to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Home of Hope for their compassionate care. And to all who knew Ichy and brightened her days along the way including her family at Schreiners, Thank You!



In honoring Ichy's wishes no services will be held.
