Ida Mae (Breister) Roggentine, 85 of Touchstone Living Center, North Fond du Lac, received her angel wings on June 7, 2013. She was born in Fond du Lac on February 28, 1928 the daughter of Emlen and Henrietta Lucia Burger. On June 27, 1969 she married Arthur Roggentine, Sr in Fond du Lac. Arthur preceded her in death on July 25, 2004. Ida Mae worked as a secretary for various manufacturing companies in Fond du Lac. She later worked at the Retlaw Hotel in housekeeping. She was a member of Holy Family Parish. As a member St. Patrick's Church in Fond du Lac she was active with the bereavement committee and was a communion distributor. A simple lady she enjoyed the outdoors, riding through Lakeside Park having a hot fudge sundae. She was an avid Packer and Bret Favre fan. She loved her dogs, Betsy, Ginger, Kelly Jo, and Cutler John. She also enjoyed Shmoo. Ida Mae loved and cherished her family especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.SURVIVORS: Ida Mae is survived by four children, Beverly (Michael) Hebenstreich, Fond du Lac, Dan (Tracy) Roggentine, Fond du Lac, Janet (Mark) Bender, Fond du Lac, Carol (Curt) Ferguson, Fond du Lac, six grandchildren, Nicole (Jason) McFarland, Stephanie (Tony) Wallendal, Christopher (Bridget) Hebenstreich, Patricia Breister, Rick (Nellie) Breister and Angela Ferguson, eight great-grandchildren, Paige, Terissa and Ian McFarland, Morgan and Trinity Wallendal, Alexis Arndt, Peyton and Callie Breister, Ida Mae is further survived by two daughter-in-laws, Joan (John) Jaeger, Brownsville, Julia Breister, Fond du Lac, two best friends Marge Kellett, Fond du Lac and Joan Bestor, Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Richard and Joseph Breister and a granddaughter Pamela Agular.
VISITATION: Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 10 AM to 1:00 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Liturgy of the Word Service will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Deacon Dale Paczkowski officiating.
