Iola E. Benedict

Iola E. Benedict, age 91, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, July 26, 2004 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. She was born on March 29, 1913 in Beloit the daughter of Charles A. and Elizabeth A. Krenn Woeshnik. On May 23, 1931 she married Ambrose P. Benedict at St. Mary's Parsonage, Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1977. Iola was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and reading. SURVIVORS: one sister, Lillian Hackbarth of Oshkosh, sister in law, Bernice Benedict of Fond du Lac, sister in law Marian Salzwedel of Fond du Lac, brother in law Melvin (Doris) Benedict of Milwaukee, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ambrose, two sisters, Bernice Koepke and Violet Crisp, and one infant brother.



VISITATION: Thursday, July 29, 2004 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. FUNERAL: Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 11:30 A.M. at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church with the Reverend Shari Routh officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services. Inurnment will take place at Estabrooks Cemetery. Memorial may be directed to Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
