Isabel E. Sutter

Isabel E. Sutter, 93, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Lasata Care Center, Cedarburg. Isabel was born on May 20, 1917 in Harmony Corners, WI the daughter of William and Julia McCoskey Bashford. On June 8, 1941, she married Otto W. Sutter at Lincoln Lutheran Church, Milwaukee, WI. They were married 69 years with Otto preceding her in death in less than two months on September 15, 2010. Isabel was the treasurer for her husband's printing business, Sutter Remo Printing Company and later was employed by Holiday Inn in their financial department. Isabel obtained her real-estate broker's license and was an agent for Freund Reality. She was a longtime member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church and served on various ladies circles of the church. She recently joined Hope Lutheran Church. Isabel volunteered for the elections; blood drives, and with her husband volunteered at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home and the Salvation Army.SURVIVORS: include one daughter, Barbara (Dan) Bednarski, Cedarburg, one son, William (Mary Jo) Sutter, Chicago, IL, two grandchildren, Sarah (Al) Dahl, and Robert (Beth) Rasmussen. She is further survived by her special family; Glenn (Joyce) Rasmussen, LuAnne Johnson, Laura (Brian) O'Toole and Mike (Lisa) Bednar. Isabel was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one grandson, William; two brothers, Loren and Carson Bashford; one sister, Frances Marineau.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Hope Lutheran Church, 260 Vincent Street, Fond du Lac, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Hope Lutheran Church with Reverend Steven Huff officiating. Entombment will follow in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
