Isabelle M. Boede

Isabelle M. Boede, 72, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, October 4, 2014, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born October 28, 1941, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Vincent and Hilda Homer McCrory. Isabelle was a 1960 graduate of St. Mary’s Springs Academy. On September 2, 1961, she married David J. Boede at St. Michael’s Church in Dotyville. She was formerly employed by A.C. Nielsen Company for over 40 years, retiring in 2005. She was a former member of the Fond du Lac Yacht Club Nauti-Gals. Isabelle especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.

She is survived by her husband, David, two daughters, Jeanne (Peter) Osen of Flower Mound, TX, and Julie Harbridge of Fond du Lac, and four grandchildren, Emily and Evan Harbridge, and Alicia and Abby Osen. She is further survived by three brothers, Patrick and Raymond McCrory of Fond du Lac, and Tom (Sherry) McCrory of St. Peter, four sisters, Mary Olson of Rockville, MD, Marjean Ransom and Mickey (John) Wilhelme, of Fond du Lac, and Bernice (Russ) Abler of Mt. Calvary, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and four sisters, Marcie Beyer, Betty Chapin, Rosie Gens-Beyer, and Cathy McCrory.

Visitation for Isabelle M. Boede will be on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and again on Thursday, October 9th from 9:30 to

10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 93 Marquette Street, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the church and burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
