Jack G. Leden, 89 of Fond du Lac, was called home on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Hospice Home of Hope with his wife holding his hand. He was born in Rockford, Illinois on April 6, 1928, the son of Gordon and Winifred (Wood) Leden. On October 2, 1949 he married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Joyes. They moved to Fond du Lac in 1964 to own and operate Fondale Farms. Shirley passed away July 31, 1978 from ovarian cancer. On October 13, 1979 Jack married his next love, Dianne Broderick. In their 38 years together they enjoyed fishing, golfing (Jack occasionally got a hole-in-one), music concerts, and playing cards with friends. Jack enjoyed cheering on the Packers and Badgers, woodworking, deer hunting, and family time at “The Pond”. He never missed a grandchild’s volleyball or basketball game, the girls on the teams always called him “Grandpa Leden”. His greatest joys the last few years was the time he spent with his great grandbabies, they always brought him the greatest smiles and hugs.
