Jack W. Duel

Jack W. Duel, 74, of Eldorado, died Monday, November 5, 2018 at Tower View Villa in Rosendale. He was born July 29, 1944 in Eldorado, the son of LeRoy and Doris Kinyon Duel. Jack served in the U.S. Army. On February 6, 1968 he married Lucinda R. Klatt at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. He worked for Mercury Marine until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of VFW Post 10195 and Eagles Aerie #270. Jack enjoyed camping, hunting, and watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.



He is survived by his wife, Lucinda; three children, Jodie Duel of Eldorado, Karen Duel of Eldorado, and Jason (Darleen) Duel of Ripon; three grandchildren, Deklin, Keanu, and Kira Duel; one sister, Marge Williams of Oshkosh; five brothers, John Duel of Rosendale, Scott (Monica) Duel of Eldorado, Terry (Sue) Duel of Fond du Lac, Jeff (Sandy) Duel of Eldorado, and Mark (Debbie) Duel of Rosendale; in-laws, Joan Duel of North Fond du Lac, Kenny (Rose) Klatt of Mequon, Diane Klatt of New Holstein, and Rosetta Pahl of New Holstein; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Joseph Duel; in laws, Mary Duel, William Williams, Robert Pahl, Melvin Klatt, Ernest (Carol) Klatt, Jr., Lulabelle (Fred) Thomson, and Marlene (Tony) Smurawa.



The visitation will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place and private inurnment will be held at a later date in North Eldorado Cemetery.



The family extends a special thank you to Scott Duel for all the help with appointments, and the staff at Tower View Villa for the care and compassion given to Jack and his family.
