Jacqueline A. Greve

Jacqueline A. Greve, 85, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday April 20, 2016 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born March 6, 1931 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Stephen and Loretta (Christ) Strong, Sr. On August 15, 1953 she married Gene R. Greve at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. Jacqueline was a teacher’s aide for the Fond du Lac School District, most recently Lakeshore Elementary School, from 1973 – 1992. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and friends.



She is survived by her husband, Gene; two children, Shelby McEssy of Fond du Lac and Brian (Kris) Greve of Rosendale; four grandchildren, Daniel McEssy, Noah Greve, Carter Greve, and Ashley Greve; one great grandson, Jackson. She is further survived by one sister, Phyllis Strong of Oldsmar, FL; sister-in-law, Marge Strong of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Michael “Mick” McEssy; brother, Stephen Strong, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Mavis (Russell) Binning and Lorraine (Charles) Smith; and brother-in-law, Milton Greve.



Private family services will be held. Entombment will take place in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
