Jacquelyn "Jackie" L. Ryan

August 22, 1960 — March 17, 2014

Jacquelyn "Jackie" L. Ryan, 53, of Oakfield, loving wife, mother and friend, died Monday, March 17, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born August 22, 1960 in Neenah, the daughter of Frank and Janet Phillips Abhold. Jackie was a graduate of Horace Mann High School, North Fond du Lac. On November 8, 1996 she married Gary J. Ryan at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Fond du Lac. Jackie was a mortgage processer for National Exchange Bank & Trust for many years. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and the past treasurer and board member of the Oakfield Booster Club. Jackie enjoyed reading, gardening, bird watching, family vacations, traveling with her sister Christina, watching her sons' sporting events, and especially loved spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Lacy. Through a long courageous battle with cancer, Jackie was an inspiration to all as she showed her unbelievable fighting spirit. Jackie was a kind and caring person who always put others before herself.Jackie will be sadly missed by her devoted husband, Gary Ryan; her three loving sons, Aaron (Angie) Wallender, Suamico, Brayden Ryan, Oakfield, and Nick Ryan, Oakfield; one granddaughter, Eden Wallender; two sisters, Christina (Claude) Wyle, Mill Valley, CA and Vickie Gruenwald, Oshkosh; one brother, Mike (Kelli) Abhold, Oshkosh. She is further survived by her mother-in-law, Betty Ryan, Oakfield; her grandmother, Sylvia Ryan; her brother-in-laws, Mark (Sandy) Ryan, Oakfield, Joe (Michelle) Ryan, Lamartine, Greg (Melissa) Ryan, Oakfield, Billy (Stacey) Ryan, DePere, Dan (Andrea) Ryan, Fond du Lac; many nieces and nephews and had a very special relationship with her niece, April Giese; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; her parents; father-in-law, John Ryan; brother-in-law, Tom Gruenwald.



The visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Friday from 9:00 - 10:30 am at the church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. Burial will follow in Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield.
