Jake Daniel Treptow

Jake Daniel Treptow, 20, of Fond du Lac, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 15, 2015. He was born October 15, 1994 in Fond du Lac, the son of Daniel and Dawn Newton Treptow. Jake graduated from Fond du Lac High School Class of 2013 and received his welding certification from MPTC in 2014. He worked for Brenner Tank for two years and was looking forward to start his new job at Pierce Manufacturing in two weeks. Jake enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling, snowmobiling, duck hunting, working on cars, shopping at Cabela’s, eating fast food, was a natural at playing washer box, and loved spending time with his family and friends. Jake would have taken the shirt off his back for anyone, even a stranger.



He is survived by his parents, Dan and Dawn Treptow; his maternal grandmother, Diane Newton; his paternal grandfather, Bob Treptow; his GIRLFRIEND and the love of his life, Emmy Smet; aunts and uncles, Chris (Danielle) Newton; Jim (Shelley) Treptow, Mike (Julie) Treptow, Steve (Traci) Treptow, Karen Treptow, Jerome Treptow; cousins, Alexis and Olivia Newton, Jennifer and Nick Treptow, Steph Treptow, Kylie (Brian) Fink, Calista and Hannah Treptow, Hallie Treptow, Sydney and Ian Treptow; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gary Newton; paternal grandmother, Sandy Treptow; and uncle, Jeff Treptow.



The visitation will be from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
