James A. Randall, 67, of Fond du Lac, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, September 05, 2008. Jim was born April 14, 1941, in Fond du Lac, to the late Walter and Vallee (Albertz) Randall. Jim was a graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy and a veteran of the US Navy. He was united in marriage with Janice McClanathan on April 4, 1964 at Salem United Methodist Church. Jim worked at Wells Manufacturing for 22 years and currently was employed at Quad Graphics in Lomira for the past 14 years. He was a member of Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran, the Oakfield Conservation Club, Winnebago Conservation Alliance, and the North Fond du Lac Rod & Gun Club. Throughout his life, Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, camping, playing bingo, and most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Jim is survived by his wife of 44 years, Janice, two sons, Tom (Vicky) Randall and Mike (Erin) Randall, both of Fond du Lac; his daughter, Lisa (Todd) Boris of Johnsburg; five grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob, and Nicholas Randall, and Justin and Devin Boris. He is further survived by two sisters, Joan (Rich) Rauls of Fond du Lac and Sue (Wally) Kutz of Rosendale, his father-in-law, Richard McClanathan of Brownsville, and many other relatives and friends. His parents, mother-in-law, Ruby Raab McClanathan, and his grandson, Zach Pickart, preceded him in death.
Visitation for Mr. James A. Randall will be on Monday, September 8, 2008, from 3:30 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, from 1 to 2 pm at Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran, 363 S. Main Street, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 2 pm at the church with burial to follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Rosenberg will officiate.
