James A. Taubenheim, age 64, Brothertown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at his residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 23, 1943 in Milwaukee the son of Albert and Ruth (Wilburth) Taubenheim. On March 21, 1964 he married the love of his life Pamela Kleiber in Milwaukee. He was employed with Briggs and Stratton for thirty-six years. James was a member of Faith Lutheran Ev. Church. He loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, riding ATV's. He also enjoyed collecting and restoring old cars. He enjoyed making woodcrafts for family and friends. But most of all he took great pride in his children and grandchildren.SURVIVORS: his wife, Pamela, two children, Anthony (Cheri) Taubenheim of Neillsville, WI, Diana (Robert) Krupp of Chilton, three grandchildren, Brandon, Megan, and Trevor, two step-grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy (Marisa) Gasiorowski, one step-great-grandchild, Nikita, three sisters, Carol Schwemer, Kathleen (Michael) Steiner, and Vicki (Tad) Johnson, one brother, Ronald (Barbara) Taubenheim, one brother in law, James (Kay) Kofler, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Marlene Kofler.
VISITATION: Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 1-3 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Joel Gaertner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery.Memorials appreciated to the American Cancer Society for research in the fight against bladder cancer.
