James A. Wagner, 47, formerly of Fond du Lac, and currently a resident of Waterloo, WI, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, in Madison, WI, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on June 11, 2008. He was born December 31, 1960, in Fond du Lac, the son of Kenneth and Joan Oligney Wagner. The Sussex Machine Shop had employed Mr. Wagner for the past 12 years as a machinist. He was a member of the local Harley Owners Group. During the Christmas season, he helped the Salvation Army in feeding the homeless of the Madison area.Surviving are six sisters, Katherine (Merlin) Matson of Fond du Lac, Mary Ann Wagner of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Lynn (Dale) Snortum of Fond du Lac, Patty (Bob) Lockwood of North Fond du Lac, Sue (John) Nett, and Ann (Joseph) Johnson, both of Fond du Lac; three brothers, Douglas (Bernie) Wagner of Omaha, Nebraska, and John Wagner and Allen (Julia) Wagner, both of Fond du Lac, many nieces and nephews, including Steven (Rebecca) Wagner of Fond du Lac, his God-son, Colton Anders, and other relatives and friends. His parents, paternal and maternal grandparents, a brother, Bill Wagner, and a sister, Laurie Wagner, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. James A. Wagner will be on Monday, June 30, 2008, from 10 am to 1 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 pm at the funeral home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Cremation will follow traditional services.
