James Finnegan

James Finnegan, 92, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, January 25, 2019 at Grancare Nursing Center. He was born September 18, 1926 in Green Lake, the son of Elmer and Marie Leonard Finnegan. On September 5, 1953 he married Eleanor A. Yonke at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Berlin.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and worked for the Fond du Lac School District retiring in 1991.



He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.



Graveside services will be held in St. Stanislaus Cemetery at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
