James J. Toth

JAMES J. TOTH SR.James J. Toth Sr., age 83, of 509 Lake St, Fond du Lac, died Monday, June 20, 2005 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on December 25, 1921 in the Town of Friendship the son of Joseph and Rose Bradjic Toth. On August 26, 1944 he married Helen Michalowske at St. Louis Church in Fond du Lac. Early in his marriage, he worked at Lake Park Outdoor Theatre. Later, he worked for Owens Oil and Tank Car Gas as an attendant for twenty-two years. During this time he started his primary job as a Special Clerk for Chicago Northwestern Railroad, where he worked for forty-three years retiring in 1985. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of perpetual adoration at Sacred Heart Church for twenty years. Jim enjoyed working on cars, reading, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.SURVIVORS: his wife Helen of Fond du Lac, one son, James (Linda) Toth Jr. of Rosendale, one daughter, Susan (Arthur) Lewis of Marinette, WI, three grandchildren, James (Kathy) Toth III of Minneapolis, MN, Scott (Tami) Toth of Green Lake, Jeffrey Lewis of Marinette, three great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Lexus, and Cassandra, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers (Frank, Andrew, and Carl), two sisters (Rose Krenusz and Annie Schwed), and two grandchildren (Sheryl and John).



VISITATION: Wednesday, June 22, 2005 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 11:00A.M. at Holy Family Parish-St. Louis Church. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
