James R. HodorffJames R. Hodorff, 60, of N8607 Decorah Lane, Town of Taycheedah, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 27, 2006. He was born March 24, 1946, in Fond du Lac, the son of Merlin and Florence Baganz Hodorff. On May 6, 1967, he married Kathleen Ferguson at Sacred Heart Church. Jim was employed by Kingsbury, Inc. of Oshkosh for the past 15 years as a manufacturing engineer. Jim celebrated life as well as those around him. His gifts were abundant and he graciously and lovingly shared those gifts with others daily. His incredible passion and support for his family and friends have created a legacy that will endure throughout the years. His most treasured moments were the simple ones"¦enjoying time with his circle of family around a campfire, appreciating and photographing nature's gifts in the beauty of his grandchildren, the majesty of the Rocky Mountains and the tranquility of wildlife. His valued time, with his loving wife and true best friend, would find them traveling throughout the US, fishing, gaming, and masterminding numerous home and garden projects. His adventurous side found him boating, hunting, motorcycling, discovering mountain passes, and running his John Deere. Those whose lives were blessed by him knew he always had helping hands to lend, a shoulder of support and simple, but powerful words of encouragement.Surviving is his wife, Kathleen, a son, Thomas (Fiancé' Cammy Litzinger) Hodorff of Denver, CO, a daughter, Amy (Joe) Loehr of Dotyville, four grandchildren, Jakob, Emma, Owen, and Samuel Loehr. He is also survived by three sisters, Carolyn (Eugene) Muckerheide of St. Cloud, Betty (Rick) Snyder of Eden, Marilyn (Dave) Krueger of North Fond du Lac, and a brother, Dennis (Sharon) Hodorff of Fond du Lac. He is further survived by nieces, including Debbie (Ed) Leonard of Dotyville, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. His parents preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. James R. Hodorff will be on Tuesday, October 31, 2006, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word for Christian Burial services will be on Wednesday at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate and cremation will follow with inurnment of cremated remains in St. Charles Cemetery. A memorial has been established in James' name.
