James W. Hunt

James W. Hunt, 69 of Fond du Lac, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Fond du Lac on January 30, 1944 the son of Lyle J. and Eleanora M. Johnson Hunt. He was a graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy. On February 1, 1964 he married Carol Ann Grainger in Fond du Lac. He was a production manager at Mercury Marine for 32 years retiring on December 12, 1997. He was a member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church where he served as the "Mail Box Minister", and was a teacher's aid. He liked to play at woodworking and enjoyed gardening,SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife Carol Hunt, Fond du Lac, two daughters, Wendy Holz, and Vicki Pilak both of Fond du Lac, one son Matthew (Lisa) Hunt, Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Jim is further survived by two sisters, Linda (Lee) Faris, Fond du Lac, and Mary (Brian) Casper, Lomira, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, son-in-law Bruce Holz, one brother Robert (Ardys) Hunt and one sister Carol (Richard) Redmann.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Friday, March 1, 2013 at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1600 South Main Street, Fond du Lac from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Peters Lutheran Church with Reverend Michael Zuberbier officiating.
