Jane Ella Wilderman, 90, was called home to her loving Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 2, 2012. She passed away peacefully at Liberty House which had been her home for the last 5 1/2 years. Jane was born July 5, 1922, in Fond du Lac, the third daughter of Arthur and Olga (Rather) Hinn. She graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy. She was married to Glenn Arthur Wilderman on August 17, 1946, at St Peter's Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. They were married for more than 58 years when he preceded her in death on April 1, 2005.Jane was a lifelong member of her church where she sang in the choir and belonged to the Gleaners Ladies Aid Society. She was a devoted wife to Glenn and a loving mother to daughter, Barbara (Derald) Sommers, and twin sons, David Wilderman of Fort Myers, FL and Daniel (Linda) Wilderman of Grafton, WI.She was Grandma to, Benjamin Wilderman, Emily Wilderman, Sara (Matt) Lenz, Kelsey Decker, Julie (Brian) Wagner and their children Jackson, Benjamin, and Abigail and Cheri (Russ) Fredrickson and their children Samuel, Janie (her namesake) and Matthew. In addition to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she is survived by two sisters-in-law, Margaret Wilderman and Dolores Hinn. She is further survived by cousins, nieces and nephews and her 'family' at Liberty House. She will forever be remembered for her faith in God, her love for her family, and her beautiful smile. Jane was preceded in death, her parents, her husband, one brother, Carl Hinn, and two sisters, Eldine Willie and Ruth Georg Graves, three nephews and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at St Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1600 South Main Street, Fond du Lac, with Rev. Michael Zuberbier officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Private graveside services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012, at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to St Peter's Lutheran Church or Agnesian Hospice. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
