Janet M. Blumke

Janet M. Blumke, age 73 formerly of Fond du Lac and of 3160 West Lake Helen Drive, Rosholt, WI died Friday, October 12, 2007 at St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point. She was born May 15,1934 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Theodore and Clara Michalowske Beaudreau. She was baptized at St. Louis Catholic Church. On April 23, 1960 she married Kenneth A. Blumke at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. She attended Cleveland School and graduated from Fond du Lac Senior High School. Janet worked for Fond du Lac City and County in the Clerk of Courts Office. She loved spending time with her family and friends, collecting music boxes, and angels, bowling, fishing, scrap booking, going to the casino, traveling with her husband, flower arranging, puzzles and decorating their home for all occasions. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Rosholt and was the Queen Bee of the Rosholt Red Hats. She enjoyed volunteering at the meal site in Rosholt and participating in the Senior Olympics for which she won many certificates and ribbons.She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Blumke of 47 years, two sons, Craig (Deborah) Blumke, and Clark (Kristi Kazemba) Blumke all of Rosholt, three aunts, Helen Toth, Mary Jagac, Oaklawn, IL, Marie Michalowske, of Fond du Lac, one uncle John Michalowske, Fond du Lac, numerous nieces and nephews. She is further survived by two sister in-laws, Hazel Dille and Bernice Michler, both of Fond du Lac, two brother-in-laws, Walter and Ray Blumke, both of Fond du Lac. Janet was preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Ted and Tom, and a very special sister-in-law, Stella Beaudreau.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home with Reverend Alan F. Schaffmeyer officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services with inurnment at the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
