JANET M. KINGJanet M. King, age 83, of 502 Saratoga Ave, North Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at her residence. She was born on April 8, 1921 in Redgranite the daughter of Robert and Josephine Hoppa Twist. On September 23, 1944 she married Francis "Franny" H. King in Berlin. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1979. She was a graduate of Redgranite High School. She attended St. Agnes School of Nursing and was a licensed RN at St. Agnes Hospital and Rolling Meadows Nursing Home. She especially enjoyed working in geriatrics. She had been a member at St. Patrick's Church where she was involved in the Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed pets especially her longtime companion Tri. Janet and her husband loved going square dancing before his death. She loved shopping and going to rummage sales. Janet's most important part of life was raising her sons, whether she was supporting their sports teams or being a den mother in Cub Scouts. She was an avid card player, including sheepshead and canasta. She was involved in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Wisconsin Paid Firemen's Association.SURVIVORS: two sons, David T.(fiancé Wendy Klintworth) King of North Fond du Lac, Thomas (special friend Wendy Hilbelink) King of Fond du Lac, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Franny King, and one brother, Oliver Twist.



VISITATION: Friday, March 18, 2005 from 10:30 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A liturgy of the Word Service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend John Radetski and Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Cremation has taken place. Entombment of the cremains will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
