Janette Mae Thelen

Janette M. Thelen, 90, of Fond du Lac, died on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Liberty House, Frontida Assisted Living. She was born on September 11, 1933, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Albert and Blanche (Dunn) Dolley. On January 15, 1954, she married Thomas Thelen in Fond du Lac. Janette liked to spend time outdoors going on walks, snowmobiling, camping, and being by the boat. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Robert Thelen; three grandchildren, Holly (Shaun) Ennis, Garrett (Miranda) Birschbach, and Crystal (Nick) Sonnleitner; two siblings, Carol Cory and David Dolley; son-in-law, Kevin Birschbach; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas; and daughter, Sandra Birschbach.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Entombment will follow the visitation.
