Janice R. Schmitz

Janice R. Schmitz, 63 of Fond du Lac, died Monday, March 24, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in Fond du Lac on February 3, 1951 the daughter of Howard and Coralie Everling Thompson. On September 18, 1971 she married John J. Schmitz in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on January 21, 2013. She enjoyed crafting, cooking and Elvis. She loved and lived for her grand-children.SURVIVORS: Janice is survived by two sons, Bryan (Debbie) Schmitz, Fond du Lac, Greg (Jennifer) Schmitz, Fond du Lac, four grandchildren, Logan, Larissa, Dorothy and Theodore.She is further survived by her by one brother, Terry (Denise) Thompson, Fond du Lac, two sisters, Jill (Jay) Bartelt, Fond du Lac, Sue (Rich) Thompson, Wausau, two brother-in-laws, Tom (Jan) Schmitz, Mount Calvary, Nick (Bonnie) Schmitz, Sheboygan and one sister-in-law Cathy (Troy) Couillard, Madison and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son Jeff, and one brother, Jerry (Janelle) Thompson.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 4-7 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Reverend Steven Huff will officiate.
