Jay Allan Sandberg

Jay Allan Sandberg, 56, of Fond du Lac, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, unexpectedly at his residence after a lifelong battle with heart problems. He was born February 26, 1966, in Fond du Lac, the son of John W. Sandberg and Janice (Kimpel) Alf. Jay graduated from Goodrich High School in 1985. He worked at Brooke Industries and was involved in ARC activities. He enjoyed the Packers, Badgers, camping, fishing, watching wrestling, and singing karaoke.



Jay is survived by his parents; step-mother, Sandy Sandberg; brother, Joseph (Susan) Sandberg of Fond du Lac; two step-brothers; Troy (friend, Becky) Pagel of Fond du Lac and Todd (Jen) Pagel of Mt. Prospect, Illinois; two nieces, Alexandria and Abbigail Sandberg; two step-nieces, Madison and Jaylyn Pagel; nephew, Conner Pagel; two aunts, Kathy Kimpel and Terry Sandberg of Fond du Lac; uncle, Robert (Joyce) Sandberg of Denmark, WI; and many cousins, friends, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; brother, James Sandberg; two uncles, Carl Kimpel and Richard Sandberg; and step-father, Carl Alf.



The visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with inurnment at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park, N6250 County Road K, Fond du Lac, WI 54937 at a later date.
