JEAN A. MICHLERJean A. Michler, 72 of 279 Laurel Lane, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at her home. She was born in Monroe, Wisconsin on June 27, 1938 the daughter of Edwin and Theodora Winger Griffith. Jean was a 1956 graduate of Monroe High School and received her registered nursing degree from Marion College, Fond du Lac. She worked as St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac Healthcare Center and Manor Care. While residing in Madison she worked for hospice and later in Dodgeville she worked in-home ventilator care. Jean loved going to Spring Green to art shows and attending the American Players Theatre. She loved animals, foster cared dogs, donkey, horses, and feeding and watching birds. Jean was a master gardener and volunteered at the Fond du Lac Humane Society.SURVIVORS: one daughter Susan Michler and her husband Gene Zenner, three grandchildren, Kayla, Michael, and Kerry, one brother, Gary Griffith, her former husband Tom (Pat) Michler, Fond du Lac. Preceded in death by her parents.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, from 3-6 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at 6 PM at the funeral home. The Rev. Laura Hawkins will be officiating.
