Jean C. Hjelle

Jean C. Hjelle, 82 of Oakfield, died Sunday April 7, 2013 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on February 17, 1931 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Elmer and Frances ScherrerEggers. On June 18, 1949 she married Arden R. Hjelle at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church.Jean was a graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School. She worked at Gehardt Bakery and later with her husband Arden owned and operated Fond du Lac Auto Machine and Parts. She was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time traveling with her husband to auto and air shows.SURIVORS: Jean is survived by her husband, Arden Hjelle, Oakfield, two children, Tim (LuAnn) Hjelle, Malone, Sue (Clint) Saunders, Lawrenceville, GA, four grandchildren, Lisa (Matthew) McCabe, Karen Hjelle, Nathan and Jordan Saunders. She is further survived by one brother Charles "Chuck" (special friend Judi) Eggers, Fond du Lac, two sister-in-laws, Phyllis (Lyle) Collien, Oakfield and Cathy Eggers, North Fond du Lac, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John "Jack" Eggers, and two sisters, Mae Parish, Winnie Roloff and a nephew Thomas Roloff.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of services. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Reverend David Pavesic will officiate.
