Jean F. Ruehl

Jean F. Ruehl, 82, of Van Dyne, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at Manor Care Nursing Home. She was born September 30, 1933 in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of Roderick and Agnes Williams Gallagher. On March 15, 1958 she married Henry H. Ruehl in Kenosha, WI. Jean attended Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac and was active in the Welcome Wagon in Fond du Lac. Jean was a loving wife and mother who devoted her life to her family. She loved taking care of her family and spending time with them. Jean was a positive and giving soul.



She is survived by her husband, Henry; five children, Kathy (Ron) Robart of Waukegan, IL, Mary Lambert of Fond du Lac, Henry (Lisa) Ruehl of Van Dyne, Cindy (Bill Schneider) Iwen of Fond du Lac, and Tom (Trista) Ruehl of Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren, Nicole (David) Schneider, Kristin (Dustin) Elliot, Tim Iwen, Heather Iwen, Ryan (Sarah) Robart, Megan Ruehl, Rebecca Ruehl, Samantha Ruehl, Mason Ruehl, Brandon Iwen, and Katrina Kalliomaa; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.



At Jean’s request private services will be held, cremation has taken place. Entombment will take place in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
