JEAN M. MOOREJean M. Moore, age 78 of 55 North Portland Street, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Hospice Home of Hope where she been a resident for the past six weeks. Jean was born on September 27, 1929 in Milwaukee the daughter of Eugene and Marie Neustaedter Wyrobeck. On November 9, 1946 she married Douglas U. Moore in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1992.She was a member of Grace Reformed Church. Jean enjoyed camping, sewing, quilting, knitting, and took immeasurable love in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She took pride in caring for her own children as well as other family's children.She is survived by her five children, Steve (Mitzi) Moore, Appleton, Dennis (Mary) Moore, Appleton, Karla (Martin) Schrieber, Fond du Lac, Scott (Kay) Moore, Green Bay, Brian (Mickey) Moore, Chilton, ten grandchildren; Casey (fiancé Barb) Moore, Tricia Moore, Lindsay (Jeff) Dietzen, Taylor (Tracey) Schrieber, Adam (Therese) Schrieber, Benjamin Moore, Carey (Jason) Post, Brooke (Tim Wendt )Moore, Brett (Fiance Tina) Moore, and Gabriel Moore, and twelve great-grandchildren. She is further survived a brother; Daniel (Kathy) Wyrobeck, Fond du Lac, one sister; Georgene (Robert) Graf, North Fond du Lac, a brother-in-law; Robert (Jolene) Moore, Fond du Lac, and a sister-in-law; Belva Mallow, New Berlin. Her parents, husband, two brothers, Roger and Thomas Wyrobeck, and one niece, Denise Colton preceded Jean in death.
VISISTATION: Friends may call at the Dorcas Chapel at Marian College, 45 South National Avenue, on Sunday, April 6, 2008 from 7-9 P.M. and also Monday, April 7, 2008 from 10- 11:00 A.M. FUNERAL: Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Dorcas Chapel at Marian College. Sister Marie Scott of Marian College will officiate. Cremation has taken place. There will be a prayer service on Sunday at 8:00 P.M. at the Dorcas Chapel."Special thanks to Dr. Michael Jones, Hospice Home of Hope and Sister Marie Scott of Marian College for their care and compassion."Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
