Jean West Kaemmer

Jean West Kaemmer, 85, N5289 Club DeNeveu Drive, died peacefully Wednesday, December 20, 2006, at St. Francis Nursing Home. She was born April 10, 1921, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of DeWitt Clinton and Loxley Taylor West. On June 20, 1942, she married Arthur H. Kaemmer in Fond du Lac at the Cathedral church of St. Paul. Jean attended Grafton Hall and the Public Schools in Fond du Lac. She later attended Lawrence University for two years, and graduated from Connecticut College for Women in New London, Connecticut, in 1942. Jean was a member of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, and the Past President of the Women of the Women of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, and St. Cecelia's Guild, a member and Past President of the Charity Club, a member of the D.A.R., a member and Past President of Chapter K-P.E.O. Surviving is her husband, Arthur; sons Dr. Arthur W. (Martha) Kaemmer of St. Paul, MN, and Craig Kaemmer (Mary Yeargan) of Brandon FL; daughters Loxley (Bob) Koshnick of Detroit Lakes, MN, and Claire (Rob) Hutter of Fond du Lac; 10 grandchildren: Fred (Kate Tilney) Kaemmer, Julia (Eric) Hynnek, Becky Koshnick, Nick Koshnick, Jack Kaemmer, Katie Kaemmer, Kathryn Hutter, Marie Hutter, Meg Hutter, and Lizzi Hutter; and four great-grandchildren: Luca Hynnek, Zora Hynnek, Gracie Tilney Kaemmer, and Lela Tilney Kaemmer. She is further survived by a sister, Julia (Joseph) Radomski of Scarborough, ME, nieces, Susan (John Boomer) Radomski and Cathy (Bill) Dodds nephews, Steve (Dianne) Radomski, Tom (Paige) Radomski, Duke Fagan and other relatives and friends. Her parents, 2 sisters, Marge Fagan, and Elizabeth Rose, brothers-in-law, Tom Fagan and Joseph Radomski, niece, Margaret Ann Vincent, and a grandson-in-law, Tom Virnig, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Jean West Kaemmer will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, 11:00 am at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul. The Very Rev. Ted McConnell will officiate and entombment will be in the Memorial Home Mausoleum, Rienzi Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, St. Francis Home or Chapter K-P.E.O.
