Jeanette E. Hoffman

Jeanette E. Hoffman, 82, formerly of 408 Franklin Street, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she had been a resident for the past three years. She was born August 8, 1927, in Omro, the daughter of Lynn and Ethel Miller Brown. On April 28, 1945, she married John T. Hoffman, Sr. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Jeanette was co-owner of Hoffman Sheet Metal for 42 years with her husband. Surviving is a son, John T. (Melody) Hoffman, Jr. of Fond du Lac, two half sisters, Sally and Linda, both of Wisconsin, a sister-in-law, Helen Hoffman of Fond du Lac, three nephews Larry (Deana) Luck, Richard Brown, and William Delabrue, and two nieces, Lori (Keith) Taggart and Mary Krug. Her parents and four brothers, Robert, Lawrence, William, and Keith Brown preceded her in death.



Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010, at 3 PM at Estabrooks Cemetery. The Rev. Dean Desilet will officiate. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
