Jeanette M. Arndt

Jeanette M. Arndt, age 101, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Touchstone Assisted Living in North Fond du Lac. She was born on August 9, 1920, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Fred and Mary (Smith) Meyers. She graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 1938. On August 20, 1939, she married LaVerne Tates. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1991. She went on to marry Reinhard Arndt on March 17, 1997. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2017. She was a longtime member of Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac and was a member of Martha Dorcus and the Lutheran Home Auxiliary for thirty years. She enjoyed quilting for church and made over 500 quilts for the Salvation Army.



Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (John) Hayes of Oak Park, IL; two grandsons, Patrick (Jill) Hayes of Elmhurst, IL; Michael (Beth) Hayes of Oak Park, IL; three great-grandsons, Devin, Colin, and Ryan; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; two brothers, Melvin and Harold Meyers.



Cremation has taken place.
