Jeanette M. Barton

Jeanette M. Barton, 90, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her daughter’s residence. She was born September 22, 1924 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Henry and Mildred Haedrick Frimark. On September 23, 1942 she married Roy T. Barton, Sr. at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1965. Jeanette enjoyed jig saw puzzles, oil painting, playing cards and games, and especially loved spending time with her family.



She is survived by eight children, Sandra Barton of Fond du Lac, Roy T. (Maryanne) Barton, Jr. of Van Dyne, Richard (Nancy) Barton, Robert Barton, John (special friend, Deb Hess) Barton, Ronnie Barton, Daniel (Carol) Barton, and May (Roger) Geasland, all of Fond du Lac; 24 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth; a half sister, Dorothy (Harvey) Wallner of Neenah; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy; an infant son, Russell Barton; two granddaughters.



The visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Rienzi Cemetery.



The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Agnesian Hospice for the care and compassion given to Jeanette and her family.
