Jeanne L. Zimmerman

JEANNE L. Zimmerman, age 79 a resident of Woodland Senior Park died Sunday, September 28, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Fond du Lac on July 9, 1929 the daughter of Leroy and Fern Brayton Schultz. On May 5, 1951 she married John H. Zimmerman at St. Mary's Church. John preceded her in death on July 18, 1995. She was a graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School Class of 1947 and a 1950 graduate of St. Agnes School of Nursing. Jeanne was a registered nurse at St. Agnes Hospital retiring in 1985. She was head nurse of the surgical floor for over 15 years prior to her retirement. Jeanne was a member of the St. Agnes Nursing Alumni, Holy Family Parish-St. Mary's Church and the Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.SURVIVORS: She is survived by three children, Jay (Barbara) Zimmerman, Rosendale, Mary (Tim) McNamara, Fond du Lac, and James (Sue) Zimmerman, Waupun, nine grandchildren, Erin Zimmerman, Keri (Matt) Zank, Andrew Zimmerman, Shannon (Tyler) Wehner, Katie (special friend Harold Haney) McNamara, Patrick McNamara, Angela (Clay) Daaney, Amy (Josh) Ziebert, Ashley survived by a sister, Judy (Joe) Schroeder, Fond du Lac and a sister-in-law, Joyce Zimmerman, Fond Zimmerman, five great-grandchildren, Olivia, Luke, Taylor, Brady, and Jacob. Jeanne is further du Lac. Her parents, husband, sister and brother in law, Sharon (Jim) Parker preceded her in death..



VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 from 4 to 8:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 2, 2008At 10:30 A.M. at Holy Family Parish- St. Mary's Church. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until the of services.In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated for a nursing scholarship.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
